Release Notes
During installation you will be prompted for you name and company name. If you are a private user, please use the first line of your address in the company field. The details entered here will be used for registration if you choose to register.
Non-English language versions of MS Word
In this release support has been added for French, German, Spanish and Portuguese language versions of MS Word. Translations for other languages are not available from Microsoft at the time of release.
If your language is not supported, please contact CHC Software for information on how to get a copy tailored to your language.
Known Bugs
Mouse Pointer
The mouse pointer is changed to an hourglass when loading all dialogs. However, if the mouse is moved over a visible portion of the Word window it will be changed back to a pointer before the dialog is ready for use.
Using floating toolbars in Word
If you have more than one floating toolbar in Word, when CreateHelp! displays a dialog the Word window will not be fully de-activated. All but one of the floating toolbars will remain enabled and their functions will operate, causing unpredictable results. To prevent this, use only one floating toolbar or be aware of what errant mouse clicks will do.
Using Directory Names with extensions.
This causes all manner of havoc. All paths to any files used by CreateHelp! must not contain the "." period character.
